Sustainable Sainsbury’s Redevelopment

The proposed plan to redevlop the New Cross sustainbury’s was called into question from
an environmental perspective. Analysing and determining what classifies the need for redevelopment and how can is it responsibly executed. An example was developed in orde to illustrate the possibilities of environmentally responsible Architecture and Urban development.

The project included a building assessment, building proposal and architectural drawings for the wider sustainbury complex.

The proposal included material selection, biosolar roofs, vertical gardens, energy usage reducing technology, and urban farm planning.
